Pathways To Peace (PTP) has a rich history of leading, inspiring, and acting to make Peace a lived reality. Through the leadership of our two co-founders, Avon Mattison and Joanie Ciardelli, Pathways has collaborated with other Peace leaders to inaugurate the UN International Day of Peace (Peace Day), the Resolution and Programme of Action for the Culture of Peace, and many other global Peace initiatives. PTP’s programs and tools have engaged people around the world in visions and actions for Peace. For over 40 years, these pathways to Peace have been documented – through the written word, photos, videos, books, and more. The PTP Archives Project Team is sorting through 40 years of Peacebuilding history and uploading the documents, videos, photos, and other resources into an online repository. From that wealth of knowledge, we hope to create some eBooks, Peacebuilding curricula, and more!
We are also looking for a tech-savvy intern who might have an interest or background in library science, as we seek a home for our repository and put systems and programs in place to assure easy access for Peacebuilders today and into the future.
If you are interested in the internship or have ideas about how the PTP archives might be useful and shared with others, or if you have an interest to join the Archives Project Team, please feel free to contact:
