Peace School In Guinea Opens for Classes in Spring 2025!

When a new road was constructed through the village of Kindia, in the Republic of Guinea, it destroyed our partner’s school and orphanage, as well as the restaurant that supported them. Our partners reached out to us for assistance, and the thought of the children being deprived of education and basic necessities broke our hearts.

Fortunately, our partners discovered a partially constructed building that had originally been intended as a hospital. The owner passed away before the construction was completed. This large building, if finished, would be ideal to house both the school and the orphanage. Additionally, it would provide enough space to accommodate the PTP Girls Shelter, the Hubcast Media Center, and our vision for a Girls’ Technical Institute.

We needed to raise $9,000 and were in search of a miracle. That miracle came from the Peterson family and their friends. In less than a week, this generous family and their supporters covered the entire construction cost! Upon hearing the news that the children would have their new school, there was great celebration in Kindia!
