WHO WE ARE?

WAR AGAINST POVERTY (WAP) is a foundation that focuses on poverty alleviation. We stand to alleviate poverty through Agriculture, Education, Technical skills training, Peace building programs Microfinance and Mentorship. This foundation was founded on the belief that each person possesses a unique talent, basic human dignity and power to make a change and transform his/her environment. Holding unto this belief, we strive to promote self-reliance, creativity, and innovation. We create and empower avenues through which one can discover his or her talent to be a positive change in the community. Therefore, we work to demonstrate fair and equal treatment to all people despite of race, tradition, culture and disability.

VISION

We believe that every human being has a unique talent and if nurtured well it can be productive. Therefore we stand to help people believe in themselves by giving them the rightful resources to grow into responsible human beings. We also stand to transform and create a world through empowerment and active skills building.
