Support the #IamBrave
Girls Shelter in Guinea

What will it take to care for and educate girls who are brave enough to say “no” and are now homeless as a result? And what does it take for us to be brave enough to stand with them and provide a safe and healthy place for them to heal, learn, and become a part of a community? Are you brave enough to stand with us to end this brutal life-changing cultural practice?

#IamBrave is a campaign to raise awareness and funds to develop a Girls Shelter in the Republic of Guinea for girls who have said “no” to female genital mutilation and are now homeless as a result. The need is urgent as we’d wish to open the Shelter by September 1st. The cost to shelter five girls for one year is $20,000.00. To date, we have raised $6,000.00 through the generosity of friends like you.

Are you called to help? You can contribute time, talent, or resources! We are counting on our caring and compassionate friends to step up and step in. Together, we can and will make it happen!
